Grant Management |
|
|
Grants management is a critical skill to have
after you receive a grant. There seems to be a lot more published - both on
the Internet and in print - on how to get a grant proposal funded than on
how to manage one once it has been awarded. It is often at least as
difficult to properly manage a grant as it is to get it in the first place.
And, the management of the awarded funds is absolutely critical for program
implementation and reporting. If a grant is not properly managed, you may
have to return funds or may become ineligible for future grants.
If you know of grant management resources
that can be added to those listed below, please let
me know! Likewise, if you happen to find links that are no longer valid,
I would appreciate you letting me
know that as well. Please include the Web page where the invalid link
appears. Thanks!
Please remember that all links open in a separate window.

Among other services, the GAO
releases studies regarding the use of federal tax dollars that can
impact schools. For example, a recent report deals with
increasing evaluation efforts at the state level of the
effectiveness of Title I programs. If states are required to perform
more intense evaluations, schools and school districts will be
impacted because they must provide more information to their state
agency.
Reports are available for download on the GAO's Web site. |
